Well Stocked
Well Stocked is a consciously curated retail experience for the kitchen and home.
In 2025, Opal client Kait Turshen reached out to our team with a vision for a neighborhood kitchen shop. Not unlike Kait’s other offering, SLFMKR, the new shop would offer an edited selection of high-quality goods based around environmentally mindful living. With intimate knowledge of the neighborhood and the market, Opal set out to design a visual identity that felt as refined and intentional as the offering. The logomark’s serif exudes warmth, tight knit letterforms nod to the shop’s full shelves. A pared-back color palette of tahini and licorice act as a base to a range of seasonal flavors and an array of product imagery.
The e-commerce experience lends itself to collecting—home to a pantry of vessels, tools, snacks, linens and cookware, and is shoppable by collection or brand. Palette is minimal and thus flexible; color can be found in product imagery. Typography is high contrast, balanced and readable for an easy shopping experience.
Opal recommended interiors stylist Dana Sobota to create a space that functioned in a retail sense but garnished the qualities of home. Dana mixed various rich woods with buttery walls and moments of stainless steel. Shelves are neatly stocked and product curated by color for an orderly shopping experience.
